Volunteer with Us:

When you volunteer at the NBEX, you get to be part of something bigger, something that gives back to the community by showcasing exciting events and exhibits. We are always looking for volunteers to help us run events and be part of the action. So, what does a volunteer do during one of our events? We have various positions that we might need a volunteer for. It could be anything from ticketing to info booths, bartending, live activities, guest support, clean up and more! Depending on the event and what we have going the tasks could vary. There is also a variety of shifts we can offer, so we can fit our volunteers in the best positions and time frames for their schedule.

 

What we look for in a volunteer:

We look for people who are committed to helping, hard workers that show up, and positive attitudes. Being flexible and having an interest in our community is also an asset! We like to have fun here at NBEX and we think our events are pretty great as well.

 

What you get when you volunteer with us:

When you volunteer with us, obviously you get to be part of an exciting event or exhibition, but we want to make sure our volunteers understand how much we appreciate them. So, no matter if you volunteer for a few hours, a day, or a few days we will give you a free admission ticket into the event you are working at. (Upon completion of your shift) A great way to participate AND enjoy the festivities!

 

How it works:

If you would like to be part of our volunteer group, please fill out the application below. Once we have received your application, we will reach out to you to confirm your information before adding you to our list. Then, when an event comes up, we will reach out to our volunteers on the list and see who is interested and available! There’s no obligation to help at every event, only when you are available. But if you are super interested in an upcoming event on our schedule, please feel free to reach out to us and express your interest! If we have some spots available, we would be happy to have you! Please note: different events require different assistance, so we need a variety of people!
